Salmon Blob
Ingredients
- 400g can red salmon
- 1 Onion - finely chopped
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons gelatine
- 1 cup hot water
- Half chicken stock cube (or to taste)
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Method
In blender mix deboned salmon with juice from can, mayonnaise, cream, onion and lemon juice.
Mix hot water, gelatine and chicken stock cube together and add to salmon mix.
Add parsley, if desired.
Blend until smooth.
Season to taste.
Refrigerate in large bowl or individual bowls until set.
Serve with hot fingers of toast.
Notes
- Can be made without a blender. The results are chunkier.
